# Notification settings

> Customize the notification emails Lemma sends to you.

[Manage notification settings](https://app.getlemma.com/_/settings/profile/notifications) is where you customize the notification emails Lemma sends to you.

These preferences belong to your Lemma user account. You can keep separate preferences for each entity or turn on **Share these settings across all my entities** to use one set everywhere.

## Approvals and alerts

Choose the alerts you want to receive:

* **Microdeposit emails** when microdeposits arrive in your bank accounts
* **Transfer approval emails** when a transfer requires your approval
* **Cash sweep approval emails** when editing a cash sweep requires your approval

## Money in, money out, and declines

Choose which transaction types should send an email when money moves or a payment is declined. You can set preferences separately for money in, money out, and declines.

### Money in

* ACH transfers
* Wire transfers
* Check deposits
* Card processing

### Money out

* ACH transfers
* Wire transfers
* Checks sent
* Card processing refunds and chargebacks

### Declines

Emails are on by default for owners, CFOs, and Accounting members. See [Email notifications](/docs/email-notifications#default-settings) for details.

For each section, you can set a minimum amount. Leave the minimum amount empty to receive notifications for every matching transaction, or enter an amount to receive notifications only when the transaction meets that threshold.

## Update your preferences

1. Open [Manage notification settings](https://app.getlemma.com/_/settings/profile/notifications).
2. Turn on **Share these settings across all my entities** if you want one set of preferences everywhere.
3. Select the approval, alert, and transaction notifications you want.
4. Set thresholds for money-in, money-out, and decline notifications when needed.

Changes save as you make them.
