The Transactions page shows every transaction across your accounts in reverse chronological order.

Transaction list

Each transaction shows:
  • Description — a summary of the transaction
  • Counterparty — who you sent money to or received money from
  • Amount — the transaction amount (positive for deposits, negative for withdrawals)
  • Date — when the transaction occurred
Select any transaction to open a detail panel with the full metadata.

Filter transactions

Use the filter bar above the transaction list to narrow the feed:
  • Search — match transactions by company, description, or amount
  • Date — show only transactions within a date range. Set a start date, an end date, or both. Both bounds are inclusive.
  • Account — limit results to one or more of your bank accounts
  • Method — limit results to specific transaction methods
  • Inbound/outbound — show only money in or money out
Active filters also apply when you export transactions.

Transaction methods

Transactions come from several sources.

Transaction statuses

Most transactions are posted and don’t need a status label. Anything still in flight or refused shows a colored status next to the transaction type.

A pending outbound ACH, a failed check withdrawal, and a posted invoice payment in the transaction feed.

Pending

Pending, in orange, means an outbound transaction has not settled yet. For example, an ACH you request in the evening stays pending until FedNow sends the funds the next morning.

Held

Held, in orange, means a deposit’s funds are reserved and not yet available to spend. Most holds come from check deposits, whether mailed to your lockbox or deposited from your phone. Opening the transaction shows the date the funds are released, when the hold has one.

Declined

Failed, in red, means a transaction was refused. The detail panel shows a reason such as “Insufficient funds”. Declined transactions are excluded from CSV exports.

Needs approval

If you have approval rules turned on, transactions that need approval will show up with an orange “Needs approval” label. The funds are held until one of your teammates approves or declines the transfer from the requests page.
